Holy Family Catholic Primary School enjoys excellent facilities for the students and staff. The school occupies the site of the previous Marsden School, which closed in the late 1970’s. Several new buildings complement these facilities. Ongoing refurbishment has been a strength of the school over the years. As well, as educational needs of the students change, we have developed new facilities at the school.
Grounds: Holy Family Catholic Primary School enjoys a generous land site at Kelso. Extensive ovals, grounds, gardens and outdoor areas are a feature immediately noticed by visitors to the school.
Buildings: The layout of school buildings at Holy Family School includes:

Recreation Areas: The school’s specific playground, sports and recreation areas include:
- Multi-sports hardcourt, fully fenced area. (Marked for tennis, volleyball, basketball and netball).
- Multi-sports indoor hall (with stage area).
- Top oval, middle oval, bottom oval, side oval.
- Fenced cricket nets, concrete pitches.
- Long jump pit.
- Fully shaded multi-fixed play equipment facility.

BUILDING / MAINTENANCE PLANS
A Building-Maintenance Plan assists with the ongoing improvement of school facilities. This Plan is monitored by our head office and it helps with the budget process at the school.
The school completes applications for various grants and funding pending school needs and availability of such source funding. The school was successful with a Bathurst Council / CSU Education Grant application which funded a ‘Chess Amphitheatre’ project. We were also successful in an application under the Federal Government ‘National Solar Schools Program’ and a solar electricity system was installed at the school.
‘BUILDING THE EDUCATION REVOLUTION'
Holy Family School has been successful in applying to the Federal Government for funding under B.E.R.. A new multi-purpose school hall, new classrooms, Library renovatioin and a covered walkway were funded by the B.E.R..
Funds for maintenance and improvements under the NSSP were also used at the school.
